Dumaguete City Hall

Built in 1097 the Dumaguete City Hall is located between the two most famous tourist attractions Quezon Park and Rizal Boulevard in the heart of the City of Dumaguete. Right across the street from the City Hall is the Dumaguete City Tourism Office which sits adjacent to Quezon Park. The Dumaguete City Hall has a relatively small footprint which is the reason why many of the other city offices are located elsewhere.

Renovations over the years have added different spaces and façades which have allowed various government units to operate in the converted residential structure. Every weekday local citizens come from all over the province to City Hall to record documents at the Civil Registrar's office, obtain permits and pay taxes. The Dumaguete City Central School is also located right beside the hall and the Dumaguete City Public Library is just around the corner next to the City Fire Department..
